“The village of Mijas Malaga is situated next to the mountain range of the same name, north of Fuengirola and Mijas Costa. A town with a strong Andalusian style that lingers in the facades and white low houses. Even today the passage of time is barely noticeable in the village of Mijas and this is certainly the main claim and tourist charm.”

The municipality has its own bullring whose oval shape evokes among fans and curious a special interest to visit it and attend a bullfight. Currently there are in Spain other oval bullrings but none as extensive as Mijas Bullring. Also is worth mention the beautiful Mijas Municipal Auditorium; here are held all musical and cultural events during the year, especially in summer with the Theatre Festival of Mijas, a true spectacle of entertainment.
