In the centre is located the Constitution Square as the reference location of the most important religious building in the town, the Parish Church Nuestra Señora de la Encarnación.
In the coastal area are outstanding the beaches and coves along Faro de Torrox plus some large beaches of this eastern part; but the best part to enjoy a day at the beach is the west of the lighthouse with a promenade to stroll and many shops and beach restaurants. The lighthouse was built in 1864 on a small hill; there is also a small balcony that offers good views.
Due to its proximity, during your stay in Torrox we strongly advise visiting Nerja, Frigiliana or Torre del Mar, thus you will get more out of your holiday on the Costa del Sol.
