During this month there are lots of activities to enjoy, both for young and old. We are going to propose 10 ideas for you to make the most of December in Malaga.<\/p>\n<p>Christmas in our province is one of the best rated in Europe, so it is worth discovering it, and why not, you can plan a trip to our province this month. How does it sound to celebrate the new year in the main square of our city? It would certainly be a moment to remember, so we encourage you to visit us in December.<\/p>\n<p>All Christmas activities in Malaga usually end after the Three Kings&#8217; Parade and usually start at the end of November or beginning of December.<\/p>\n<p>Keep reading to find out about some of the many activities you can do if you decide to visit Malaga at Christmas.<\/p>\n<h3>1. Christmas markets in Malaga<\/h3>\n<p>Malaga Christmas market opens at the end of November with dozens of stalls. It is a good opportunity to buy some typical products of our region and to enjoy a delicious chocolate with churros in front of Calle Larios, with its spectacular illumination.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_1380\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1380\" style=\"width: 1024px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-1380 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.malagatransfer.co.uk\/es\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/mercadillo-navidad.jpg\" alt=\"mercadillo de Navidad en Malaga\" width=\"1024\" height=\"647\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-1380\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The Christmas markets are especially recommended places to buy typical products, handicrafts or to enjoy some delicious churros with hot chocolate.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>You can find it in Paseo del Parque (approx. from late November 2025 to 6 January 2026, with around 90 stalls offering nativity scenes, toys and sweets). Another one at Muelle Uno (Chocoland, approx. late November to early January), and others in points like Plaza Antonio Banderas (El Corte Ingl\u00e9s).<\/p>\n<p>Recommended products:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Traditional sausage and black pudding from Malaga<\/li>\n<li>Churros with chocolate<\/li>\n<li>Artisan beer<\/li>\n<li>Olive oil<\/li>\n<li>Local cheese<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>There are markets all over the province. Some popular ones in Torremolinos, Benalm\u00e1dena, Fuengirola, Marbella, Estepona, and the Gran Feria Sabor a M\u00e1laga (early December).<\/p>\n<h3>2. New design in Calle Larios: &#8220;Nativity of Light&#8221;, inspired in Nativity scenes, with light and sound show at approx. 18:30, 20:00 and 22:00 (except 24 and 31 December). Over 2 million LED points with sustainable technology.<\/p>\n<p>The lights remain on until 6 January 2026.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Location:<\/strong> Calle Larios (main) and across the city.<\/li>\n<li><strong>When:<\/strong> 28 November 2025 to 6 January 2026.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Light and music show:<\/strong> Approx. 18:30, 20:00 and 22:00.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Other illuminations in all districts and municipalities like Torremolinos, Fuengirola, Marbella, Estepona. Christmas Garden in the Botanical Garden La Concepci\u00f3n (approx. late November to early January).<\/p>\n<h3>3.
