Salobreña is not the typical inland town of Andalusia; it has its own peculiarities thanks to its location so close to the coast and for having a part of the town situated on a rock where is outstanding the Moorish castle of Salobreña. The castle is one of the main points of cultural interest of the place we recommend visiting before the afternoon as it closes access at 5:45 pm.

Overall the interior of Salobreña keeps all the features and similarities of an Andalusian village with its white houses and low-rise buildings, slopes, patios, narrow streets, a cosy and close atmosphere, tranquillity, etc.
